I have trans friends. They are not wielding power. They are terrified. My friend Milo is terrified about the whole bathroom situation. Milo IS a man, but a trans man. So he was born genetically female. Milo looks like a man. So is he supposed to go in the women's bathroom? Where he could get attacked? Or the men's bathroom? Where he could also get attacked? He has no power here. He is in a situation where he feels like he cannot use any public restroom. UTIs are absolutely rampant in the trans community because of this.
