Maybe I'm just in a mood but it's not clicking with me.
I don't find the lead very enjoyable. He's a raging a-hole from the second we meet him. I hate how he treats people, how he talks to people, how he interacts with people. Maybe I'm just over dudes and their Man Pain stories. I think about "House" but at least he was funny and actually brilliant at his job, solving a medical mystery in 45 minutes.
Which brings me to how much I don't enjoy watching this kidnapped woman be tortured every episode. It's emotionally exhausting. I don't want to watch another episode of it (I made it to ep 5). I feel like they should have saved her by episode 3 or 4 and then moved on to a new case, let the new case cover a couple episodes while still working in the shooting from the pilot mystery.
