you don't want to jump all over this house just because it looks like it could work, you know? The sloping kitchen floor could indicate something VERY BAD with the foundation that is the reason it's been on the market for 80+ days with 2 price reductions. It's quite possible other folks have had inspectors in there and just walked away.
on the other hand, old appliances aren't always bad, and you can get great sales around certain holidays.
i mean...a house renovation is tough, and if you want to do the work before you move in, you'll be rolling two mortgages or rent+mortgage so there's that lovely thing to think about. (and between you and me, it's why we haven't renovated our kitchen yet - i cannot live through that and i'm far too cheap to move into a hotel or short-term rental.
