… Pedro Pascal isn’t gone. As you know, there was a five year gap between the end of S1 and the beginning of S2, and something(s) happened during that time to turn Ellie against Joel. I read that we’ll get to see Joel again in flashbacks that explain what went down between them during those years. So all is not lost!

I was GUTTED by Joel’s death and refused to believe he was really dead until I saw them dragging his dead body through the snow.
