in the faint, and ultimately fruitless, hope of prolonging it but oof, the bills. Especially the bill for the emergency vet visit...on a Sunday morning. All they did was poke my poor kitty a couple times--once to draw blood, once to give him fluids (after telling me fluids wouldn't help him)--and run the labs, then they charged me over $900.
