.. the show is already renewed for season 9 and, imo I think 9-1-1 will probably go one, maybe two more seasons anyway. Also, many of these fans who are angry are also Ryan Guzman/Buddie fans who think somebody should have flown to Texas to pick Eddie up or FaceTime him during the crisis. Ummm, okay. Buddie fans (not all but some) are convinced that Eddie and Buck will declare their love for each other by season end. Maybe, but Tommy pretty much committed multiple crimes to help his ex-boyfriend so that's not going to be forgotten 😜.
I think the decision about Bobby was creative but I think Peter was ready and not surprised. PK has implied a few times over the last two years about wanting to leave and how long can he play Bobby. I was spoiled, I knew it was coming but I was still hoping the rumors/spoilers were wrong. Bobby's death is tough for the fans, I kind of hate it, but it's the most impactful story wise especially for Buck and Athena. The fallout from Bobby's death is something I could see happening well through the early parts of season 9
