There are plenty of brilliant women in STEM who clawed their way to the top and deserve recognition. Chien-Shiung Wu must have raised her fist from the grave when Oppenheimer won the Oscar after erasing her contributions. It’s not about hate or any phobia. There is truth and reality, and you cannot have a demographic of people take away the rights of another demographic. That’s not how human rights work.
Newsom is savvy enough to realize that the Dems. have a trust problem after Biden’s debate debacle and Harris’ lack of messaging. The Dems. cannot rebuild trust with the voters by having its front runners unable to define woman. During the pandemic, Dems. embraced being the party of science and have become the party of gaslighting.
I haven’t heard Newsom say anything about trans that wasn’t born out of facts.
