and several months into his second term, they. still say they love Trump. As we got further into the conversation, a common denominator became apparent — the black women I talked to all expressed their hate of immigrants.
Two things stood out to me from Van Jones’ group of black Trump voters: (a) not caring about Trump erasing history and (b) being fine with Trump being an ahole and troll.
Thankfully, this is just a small minority of black people. But still. Not caring about history is a dooming attitude.
