It is actually not!!
No matter how pissed off Carly Jr. has been with her mother--I can't believe she would deliberately put her in the line of fire like this. There is no good to come from dumping this news on Jack. She has no idea how he'd respond. She has witnessed this man blow his stack 😤because she has been on the receiving end of it. Jack can probably be lethal if pushed too far. She basically unleashed an angry, hurt, loose-cannon.
WSBarbie is an agent and wants Valentin away from her mother. Why not arrest him herself? She can tell Jack that she found him at the 7-Eleven. Jack would swallow it because his laser-focused on apprehending Valentin. He would probably promote WSBarbie, buy her a Miata, and take her to Red Lobster!
Also, Carly and Joss are convinced that Valentin will help them break Jason out of WSB. Exactly how he will accomplish that while he is playing home maker for Carly is beyond my imagination.
BTW, when Lucas reminded Carly that she almost died at the hands of Valentin, I saw the same lines she has spewed about SaSon coming out of her mouth. She is rationalizing how Valentin won't hurt her.
