I am curious how much of this stems from people reacting to Britt and Jason. So, replace Britt with Lulu and Dante for Jason. Rocco shoots Cullum to save Dante. Do you still hate it?
I would hate it just a little less if it was Lulu or Dante. Regardless, Rocco made a series of horrible choices. He has been shown to do the right thing, like in Dalton's lab. But once he was on the pier lurking for what seemed like a long time and NOT calling 911 when Cullum showed up and started roughing up Britt, he got what he got.
Am I glad he shot Cullum? Yes. It was self defense. Should he have put himself in that position? heck no. But once he was there, he had no choice but to shoot Cullum.
I get it. This will likely traumatize Rocco and stay with him for a long time. Love me some Rocco and I adore the actor, but Rocco made a series of choices:
~He chose to follow Britt
~He chose to stick around and eavesdrop
~He chose not to call 911
~He chose to pick up that gun and stop Cullum from bashing Jason's head in
This will absolutely traumatize Rocco and is going to stay with him FOREVER!! But what he chooses to do now is what matters. Is he going to the police and confess to what happened? Or is he going to let Jason take the blame?
Because the best choice for Rocco is to confess and take whatever consequences come his way and clear his conscience. For once, I want someone to act like a smart person and do the right thing.
On a soap? Doubtful. I hope I’m wrong though. This should fall within self defense. Jason was unarmed. I really hope that Dante and Lulu don’t blame Britt as she had no idea Rocco followed her. But I think Jason and Britt will send Rocco home and either Britt or likely Jason claims to be the shooter. TPTB don’t won’t this wrapped quickly. They want it messy and to drag it out. I am looking forward to seeing Finn more. He is easily the strongest is the teen set.
