Length of the SL arc dictates everything. We all know that. When Sidwell's time on gh is up, he'll be killed off, leave town or hauled off to prison. Until then, this is what we get....cat and mouse, threats back and fourth. Jagger's time was up and so he was murdered, in a poorly written way of course. When Sonny was threatened with Karpov, same thing....and when his time was up Sonny blew his head off. Everything on this show has an arc, some longer than others.
