he should let Scout, and her extended family, know that they will still see each other. Scout should live with Drew, but still keep in contact with the extended family she lived with for years. He should make sure Scout gets to spend time with her "cousins" that she lived with acting as their sister. To be able to see her grandmothers Alexis and Monica. After all, Scout lost her mother and to also be completely separated from her brothers and grandparents isn't in her best interest.

Drew will still be visiting Port Charles and when she's out of school, should allow Scout to visit as well. D.C. isn't that far from Port Charles, New York. Spending a couple of days during holidays, or a week or two during the summer would be good for Scout. Drew can continue to feel like the victim in his strained relationships with Lulu/Dante, the Q's, Jason/Danny and Alexis. But doing what's best for Scout means not totally separating her from her extended family.
