ever truly redeemed. Personally, I don't think every character needs to be. Obrecht has done some very bad things but she does have layers. And she is good for comic relief. To this day, I still remember the scene where she had gone to a drag show and got into it with some folks.
Liesl: "I snatched a wig and got arrested. But it was worth it."
She has also done some good things. Her relationship with Nina, Scott and Britt helped soften her and show another side. When she was chief of staff--she was actually quite good at it. She took a tough approach but I remember the board was happy with her (at least for a bit) because she had things running smoothly.
She also didn't hesitate to save Willow's life--even though she barely knew her. The old Liesl would have withheld her bone marrow unless Willow agreed to accept Nina. She didn't do that.
