He is usually the target of whatever big bad comes to town. That's why he receives most of the flack and he should. Jason is in a dual role: enforcer and second in command. Sonny is calling the shots here and everyone knows it. I agree with you about Tracy. Her 180 on Jason is totally out of character and inconsistent. Jason has enemies. Why is she okay with him living under the same roof. I mean, it is Monica's house (for now) but I still feel the chunks rising up in my throat when I recall that scene of her touching his face. Um, yeah! Regarding Jason/Carly taking over like they did before--I think Carly learned her lesson there and if Jason were to takeover--same thing, he would be pressured to leave the mob and/or leave town. Danny has no mother. Jason is all he has, he needs to make him his priority before he becomes fixated on following in daddy's footsteps.
If anything, everyone should be discussing get rid of the Five Families but are they all in PC? Aren't they spread out in NY and just meet when necessary?
The mob stories just need to go. It lost its lusters years ago. It is wash/rinse/repeat on steroids. Where Jason is concerned, they have always tried to have it both ways. He kills, intimidates, threatens and beats people up. Everyone knows it, but he's so good with babies, brakes for small animals and can always rescue a damsel in distress. Oh and he never lies but he'll allow people to spout a lie about him when it comes to being a baby's daddy. And he has such amazing insight. I'm hoping Britt can work another miracle and make me care about what happens to him. We shall see.
