I don't want -- off camera death after years of an off camera character. I would love to see ES return as Monica with an actual storyline, connecting to her family, going toe to toe with Tracey, and then passing away. They have had the opportunity to kill Monica for years! After years of a dialog character just to have a dialog death isn't honoring the character or the actress who played her.
I think it is a testament to Leslie Charleson that the show chose an actor like Erika Slezak to take over the role.
