was controlling Brenda by having the maid place a tiny patch on her neck. It was laced with something that made Brenda both malleable and compliant.
The writing for Willow is not enjoyable or interesting anyway you slice it. This is so heavy-handed it is absurd. Do they actually think they are telling a good story? They could have easily made this Willow stuck in the middle as Michael and Drew go at each other and we see her torn. It also doesn't help that last month Carly say: Do you ever speak for yourself? She looks so pathetic in this. There is no balance. Suddenly not Michael and Willow never truly knew each other? They are pulling out all the stops in an attempt to explain why she has become a human puppet! Drew doesn't even have to work hard to pull the strings.
Maybe it will be revealed that Drew is slipping something into her coffee or morning smoothie. I gotta wonder if CM has been back to the writers to ask: This is your idea of a super couple?! That's what they told him late last year, when he was struggling to understand Drew's motivation and mindset.
