when it’s more amicable. Mediation is about reaching a mutual agreement, while arbitration is about having a neutral third party decide the outcome. Michael and Willow’s situation is contentious—thus a trial is necessary. Of course, it way more dramatic because it’s daytime 😉

Brad and Angelina made some concessions and thus avoided a custody trial but there divorce took 8 years to finalize!
