For a few characters I still like and hope that the writing turns around. But at this point I look for good scenes rather than good episodes. To have really good full episodes these days is a rarity. I just compartmentalize now and look for good scenes and segments. I often watch an episode and distract myself while scenes are on that I don't care about.
