and get her into counseling! It would have been dramatic for soap purposes, and also believable. I can be a good sport if the show sets up why a character does something out of character for a good story IF it is structured so there is no other option.
But Alexis confronting Kristina would have been dramatic and she would still be paying Ava off to keep Kristina from being arrested and having this on her record. And there would still be the drama when Molly found out.
The way this was structured is less dramatic and satisfying. There is nothing entertaining about an intelligent character written to take the stupidest option available when a simpler option is available that would have hit the same major plot points (Ava's blackmail and the drama of Molly finding out).
